Juanita Tolliver Education

For her preliminary studies, Juanita attended East High School in Memphis, Tennessee. After that, Juanita moved to North Carolina and attended North Carolina University at Chapel Hill, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science.

Juanita then attended Fletcher Law and Diplomacy School at Tufts University, a graduate school located in Medford, Massachusetts. She graduated with a Master of Arts degree. In June 2019, Tolliver married Chris Leist, senior digital advertising manager at Mothership Strategies. She currently resides in Arlington, Virginia.

After graduating from the Faculty of Foreign Affairs, Fletcher Juanita became the manager of the American Maverick Policy Initiative Program in Washington, DC, and held this position from 2016 to 2017.

From 2016 to 2017 she worked as a director and senior officer of Arlington Young Democrats.

Since November 2016, Juanita has also been a member of the school storyboard. The organization preserves the school history of the District of Columbia and uses selected tools to help youth communicate and share school and community details.

Juanita worked as an Opportunity Nation Partner and Support Manager in Washington, D.C. from 2017 to 2018. OpportunityNation is a campaign that aims to expand the economic movement and restore the legendary American dream.
