Adolfo Franco was born in Cadenas, Cuba in 1956, and his family immigrated to the United States in 1961. In 1983, he became a lawyer in Schugg Hart, Thompson, and Kloy, and in 2002 he served as an assistant at the Latin American Board of Directors and the Caribbean office of USAID.
In 2008, he was a foreign policy and development policy advisor to Republican presidential candidate John McCain. He later became a conservative political commentator on CNN and criticized his commentators, who overpowered Donald Trump for attacking Sherrod Brown, Nan Waley and Beta O’Rourke during a mass shooting in El Paso in August 2019.
