Hal Prince Biography
Prince was born on January 30, 1928. As Prince Harold Smith. He was 91 years old. His stepfather Milton A. Prince accepted him, but Prince was born in Manhattan to Blanchet Stern and Harold Smith. The prince is known as Hal and is of German Jewish origin.
After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, he majored in liberal arts, and after completing three years of study at the age of 19, he attended Dwight School in New York.
On October 26, 1962, the prince married Judy Chaplin, the daughter of composer and musical director Saul Chaplin. They are the parents of director Daisy Prince and director Charles Prince. Actor Alexander Chaplin, best known as James Hubert in Spin, is the prince’s son-in-law. The prince lived with his family in Manhattan and Switzerland at the time of his death.
