Biography Profile / Wiki Information

Amie Yancey is an interior planner who is also a realtor on the Bravo Network’s “Describers”. In recent years she has come to be best known for for her starring role in the A&E film, “Flipping Vegas”.

Personal Life & Family Background :

Amie Yancey (neé Tollestrup) was born on August 30, 1967, in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.
After years of maturity, she grew up on the ranch where she used to play as a girl. Since 1979, Amie has fulfilled the fantasy of owning eight motorcycles.
She is one of ten kids (including four out of five of them adopted) who has two adults in her family tree (including one step-mom). Unfortunately, both of her parents and two of her siblings were also dead.

Since meeting at the University in the 1980’s and marrying in her mid-twenties, Amie is a real estate broker and a businessman. She is now a participant on TLC’s “Counting On.”
The couple does not have any children, but the woman has a daughter called Sarah who currently lives with her ex-husband.

On October 16, 2018, Sarah and Mitch, along with their adorable baby daughter, Amie, welcomed their own baby girl into the world.
Due to the fact that they don’t have kids at home, the Yanceys have plenty to look after between their dogs (named “Tallulah”, “Flip”, and “Zuma”), their two horses (named “Heinke” and “Tieme”), and their two small pigs (named “Bali” and “Tiffy”).

Early Life & Education :

Obviously a massive animal lover, Amie credits this enthusiasm to growing up on a ranch in Canada with cattle, cows, pigs, goats, ducks, turkey, poultry, ponies, cats, and dogs.

In a way, Amie was inspired by building and “flipping” when she was a very young girl. Her grandpa founded the company of Tollestrup Construction Company in 1940 in order to fulfill dumping service, which is one of the key activities of the company.

Lately, I’ve been studying something about one of my father’s family’s businesses. It’s fascinating because it shifted from one person to another all the way over time. Not to mention, it kept becoming larger and smaller to accomodate more customers.

Amie even turned up on The Tonight Program a couple years back. Although joining a local theater troupe at Lethbridge Collegiate Institute, Robyne Cooper also appeared in a local script.

Business Career, Salary & Net Worth :

In 2013, Amie (Scott’s wife) and Scott (Amie’s husband) founded Goliath Company – a real estate brokerage specialized in purchasing and selling lands, new land acquisitions, and assessing income properties.
Amie’s position in the business is as a realtor and interior designer in addition to becoming active in several areas of the company’s offerings.

When Amie was younger, she costarred opposite of Scott on the A&E show “Flipping Vegas”. Every week, the Peterson’s would buy old broken down homes, make them livable and market them for a profit. Amie would run all the construction information.

The legend of this show’s inception goes back to when Scott was having a talk with friends about when he wanted to use a pistol when moving into a house he owned, and a friend had implied that street men with needles in their hands were coming to assault him with the intent to injure him. The friends, who were from Hollywood, told him that he wanted to audition for a television program.
