Gwen Renee Stefani is an American artist and No Doubt’s band frontwoman. On October3,1969, in Orange County, California, she was born to an Italian father named Denis and a mother named Patti, an English and Scottish descendant. Gwen has one sister named Jill, and two siblings named Eric and Todd, respectively. Gwen attended Cal State Fullerton throughout her student age and during her high school she was identified as one of the representatives of the swimming team because she was chubby.

Gwen had her first job scrubbing floors at a Dairy Queen and worked at a nearby retail store previous to her success. Her singing career started in1986, when her brother Eric formed No Doubt along with his friend John Spence. Eric, who used to be the No Doubt keyboardist, then quit the band to follow his “The Simpson,” animation career, while Gwen became the lead vocalist of the band after his initial singer, John Spence, committed suicide in December 198This took hard work from all the band members who nearly broke up over the three years to make their third record. Yet, they were able to stand still and eventually released their third album named “Tragic Kingdom” in1995, which started with single “Just a Girl.” to deliver many hits.

Gwen became more famous and familiar after the popularity of’ Tragic Kingdom.’ The same holds true for the video of the performance of the band for the song “Don’t Speak” included in the same record, which influenced several of its songs by Gwen’s relationship and breakup with fellow band member Tony Kanal with whom she dated for eight years but had to finish it because Kanal wanted more room for himself. After the tiring tour for the “Tragic Kingdom” record, experiencing breakup with the person she cherished so much had pushed Gwen into a depression and it tortured her even further.

In Gwen’s mind, the future looked so blue, but not until she encountered Bush guitarist Gavin Rossdale at a 1996 concert that she performed with Little Hesitation. Gwen married Rossdale on September14,2002, in a wedding dress modeled by John Galliano, after occasionally establishing their friendship. And after three years of engagement, the singer happily confirmed that during a concert at Ft. In December2005, Lauderdale, Fla maintained that she was still pregnant with her first child with Rossdale. And the next year, on May26, the pair happily adopted their first child, a baby boy called James McGregor Rossdale of Kingston.
