Judge Harris, a hard-living, law-bending married guy with a high-end call girl on his side, who suffers from a psychotic collapse and goes on a vigilante search to locate the abuser who ripped his family apart, is the focus of the season. Pernell begins to focus on “visions” and “messages” that he feels are being transmitted by Heaven through the ventilator-bound son of Pernell with little clear proof to go on.

Hand of God returns with Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy), recipient of the Golden Globe, starring as Judge Pernell Harris. As he stands prosecution for the murder of an officer, the hard-living, law-bending ruler of San Vicente, “Judge Maximum” has finally reached bottom. Although Pernell will steadily direct his dreams and the spirit of his dead son into a conspiracy that is larger than he could have dreamed, they will threaten his friendship with his wife and all that he holds dear. Judge Maximum must fight on two sides in this season 2 – to regain his sanity and gain his liberty.
