On June 24, 1952, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Marcia Coyle was born to Robert and Connie Coyle’s parents.
She has Robert Coyle Jr., her brother, and Mary Alice Santora, her niece.
In 1973, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English from Hood College, a liberal arts college in Frederick, Maryland.
She graduated from Northwestern University with an MS in Media and a JD degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

While at the University of Baltimore, Coyle met her spouse, Raymond DiBiagio, while practicing law.
Raymond operates in his own profession and, along with writing wills, trusts, and other wealth security vehicles, concentrates on bankruptcy law. In May 1984, the pair got married and had two children together, Robert DiBiagio and Katerina DiBiagio.
Robert DiBiagio, Marcia’s uncle, was in the United States. Marine Corps Reserves and spent a month attending Anne Arundel Community College in the Mojave Desert as her daughter attended.
In mid-2019, her daughter Katerina welcomed her first boy, turning Marcia into a grandma.

For the Pennsylvania Times-Mirror, a local newspaper for more than a decade, Marcia began her career by reporting state and national government and politics.
She has also reported for journals and newspapers such as Vogue, Ms. Magazine and the New York Times Book Review about the Supreme Court and other legal problems.
In 2013, a book named “The Roberts Court: The Struggle for the Constitution” was published and published by her. In the conservative-dominated Judiciary, the book exposes the fault lines led by Chief Justice John Roberts Jr. across four seminal rulings.
Marcia is now a contributing author on a book about the Supreme Court, A Year in the Life of the United States, in addition to writing on her own title. Supreme Court of Law.’
She is now the Washington Chief Reporter for The National Law Magazine, and has been reporting the Supreme Court for over 25 years now. She is also a frequent visitor to the PBS show The NewsHour with the Supreme Court review.

A Big Story :
As Justice Clarence Thomas of the Supreme Court was going through a sexual assault lawsuit from another prosecutor, Moira Smith, Marcia reported the news.
At the time of the attack, Marcia had questioned Moira and her other roommates. She weighed in on the piece by Jill Abramson on Justice Clarence Thomas as well. Jill, a former New York Times executive director, also produced an article claiming that a writer called Nancy Montwieler had lodged charges against Justice Thomas.
But Nancy mentioned when Marcia reached out to her that Thomas was always polite and that she had never witnessed any unwanted behaviour from him.
