She also presented the NBC Golden Globes Red Carpet Specials, the Primetime Emmy Awards, and the SNL 40th Anniversary Special.

Sara Gore was born to George and Gail Gore’s parents in Queensland, New York, in May 197She has two sisters who are older. Her parents are currently divorced despite having been together for 36 years.
Sara entered the High School of Queensbury and graduated in 199She proceeded to attend Marymount Manhattan School and graduated with a minor in Business/Theatre in Communications.
Gore is now married to a producer and screenwriter named Matthew Miele. Together, they have three daughters. Griffin, Sawyer and Fiona are 8, 6 and 3 years of age, respectively (ages as of 2020).
Sara has had a pet, called Mugs, even before her first child was born. She rescued a dog out of a sanctuary a number of years back and called her Cookie.

By serving as a personal chef, Sara began her career with a passion for cooking, running her own catering business.
Later on, she served as a line cook for Jean-Georges Vongerichten, the globally acclaimed chef and restaurateur.
She quit her work to do an off Broadway play as a line chef, and during that time she encountered a hosting agent who began applying her for hosting jobs related to food.
She also did a Food Network pilot that never got off the ground and a General Mills culinary series afterwards.
Her breakthrough came when she got a position with a lifestyle start-up business named Code TV, which later changed its name to LXTV. Open House and 1st Look were released and eventually they were purchased by NBC.
For well over a decade now, Sara has been employed for NBC and likes to moderate Open House while co-hosting New York Live.

- Sara started performing high school acting. She competed in the Miss Teen USA pageant back in 1993 and came away with the award ‘Miss New York.’
