Still Star-Crossed synopsis, TV summary and spoiler

“Still Star-Crossed” from Shondaland, a period romance, starts up where this famous tale finishes. The feud between the Montagues and the Capulets has intensified owing to the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Verona’s streets have become unsafe, traitors have come into existence, and the kingdom is susceptible to violence. Escalus, the young reigning Prince of Verona, aims to put an end to the feud and get the kingdom to stability. He develops a plot to marry a Capulet to a Montague, pursuing the wise advice of his niece, Princess Isabella, to reconcile the families and improve his role. He orders an alliance between the cousin of Romeo, the womanizing Benvolio, and the cousin of Juliet, Rosaline, who is in love with Prince Escalus. Any single one is fiery and autonomous.

In the street pandemonium after the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, Benvolio protects Rosaline from attack. She’s insulting, rather than being thankful. Their courtship has a long way to go because, in the middle of treachery, power grabs and palace intrigue, they would have to chatter their way to a settlement. Another star-crossed tale of passion continues.
