For Vince Vaughn, even though he has all the fundamental elements to be a movie star, determination and luck play an important role in fulfilling his dream. In reality, having skill, capacity, beauty, and popularity was not enough for him to go through such a rocky journey before attempting to be one of the most celebrated actors in the Hollywood film industry of his age.
He was born to Vernon and Sharon Vaughn on March 28, 1970, to Vincent Anthony Vaughn, of Italian, Lebanese, Scottish, Irish and German descent. While his birthplace was in Minneapolis, Minnesota, after staying briefly in Buffalo Grove, he spent the remainder of his early life in Lake Forest, Illinois. When he joined Lake Forest High School, he was viewed as a mediocre student who lacks an interest in schooling. This was possibly because of his profound affection for acting, which had been obvious since he was just seven years old.
Vince secured a favourable contract with Chevrolet soon after his high school graduation in 1988 to be the basis for his TV advert. Looking at this initial accomplishment, he wanted to find a greater opportunity in Los Angeles. He soon witnessed the hard life he had to endure upon his arrival in the dazzling region, as he endured numerous rejections in his struggle to be a successful actor. Although he subsequently managed to star in television shows, such as “China Beach” (1988-1991) and “21 Jump Street” (1987-1991), the roles he won were merely one-time bit parts that could definitely not help his name rise to the surface.
