Floyd Elliot Wray (born August 22, 1960) is an American country music singer who goes by the stage name Collin Raye. He was formerly known by the stage name Bubba Wray. Between 1983 to 1987, he recorded as a member of the band The Wrays, which he did as a fourth of the group. Collin Raye made his solo debut in 1991 with the album All I Can Be, which yielded his first No. 1 hit with the song “Love, Me.” He went on to become one of the most successful artists in the country. Upon its debut, All I Can Be became the first of Raye’s four straight albums to earn platinum certification in the United States, with each album selling one million copies or more.
Throughout the remainder of the decade and into the new millennium, he maintained numerous Top Ten singles. With Can’t Back Down in 2001, he released his first studio album that did not provide a Top 40 country hit, and he was dismissed by his record company shortly afterwards. After that, he didn’t make another studio album until 2005’s Twenty Years and Change, which was published on a small indie label. He had 30 hits on the country charts in the United States between 1991 and 2007; he also had two singles on the Adult Contemporary charts as a duet partner on two Jim Brickman tracks between 1991 and 200Four of Raye’s songs have reached the top of the Billboard country music charts: “Love, Me” and “In This Life” in 1992, “My Kind of Girl” in 1994, and “I Can Still Feel You” in 199Raye’s career began in the early 1990s with the release of her first album, “Love, Me.” In addition, he has released a Greatest Hits compilation, a live album, and a live CD/DVD package, for a total of eleven studio albums (including a Christmas album and a lullaby collection), as well as a Greatest Hits compilation, a live album, and a live CD/DVD package. On April 28, 2009, Saguaro Road Records published his most recent album, Never Going Back, which was produced by him.
