Sofia Milos (pronounced /s??fi??mi?lo?s/; born September 27, 1969) is a Swiss-born Italian-Greek actress who was raised in Greece. Her most well-known part is that of Yelina Salas on the television show CSI: Miami. Aside from The Sopranos, where she played Camorra boss Annalisa Zucca, she’s been on a variety of other shows, including Curb Your Enthusiasm, Friends, and ER, among many others. Milos was born in Zurich, Switzerland, to a father who is Italian and a mother who is Greek. When she was a kid, her family relocated to the Italian capital of Rome. 

She joined a local beauty pageant while she was in her teens, and after winning first place, she went on to win the provincial, regional, and national competitions as well. Acting instructor Milton Katselas taught Milos at the Beverly Hills Playhouse in the United States, where Milos completed his training. The following languages are proficient in Milos’s vocabulary: English, Italian, French, German (particularly Swiss German), and he can even have a basic conversation in Greek and Spanish.
