Apre April Margera (née Cole; born March 28, 1956) is an American reality television personality who is most known for her appearances on MTV’s Viva La Bam, Jackass, the CKY videos, Minghags: The Movie, and Bam’s Unholy Union, among other shows. April Margera is the mother of Bam and CKY drummer Jess, and she is married to Phil Margera, who is affectionately known as “Ape” by fans of the aforementioned series. The Jackass creator, Jeff Tremaine, famously referred to her as “everyone’s mom,” recalling how she made supper for the whole group on their first trip to West Chester, Pennsylvania. It was released in 2006 under the title April Cooks: There’s An Alligator In My Kitchen, which is a parody of the fact that Bam placed an alligator in her kitchen as part of a prank on the television show and movie, Jacka$$: The Movie (he was trying to make her swear because the movie would be uncensored). Both in the film and in Jackass Number Two, this goal was accomplished. The trial of her brother-in-law, Vincent Margera, took place in October 2007, and she testified on behalf of the defence. April and her mother Velma, as well as her daughter-in-law Kelly, revealed in December 2011 that they had created a business called The Rose Hip Barn in their hometown. The business, which is situated in Thornton, Pennsylvania, offers restored furniture as well as handcrafted handbags and home décor items.
