Alba Parietti (born 2 July 1961 in Turin, Piedmont) is an Italian actress, television presenter, and performer who has appeared in a number of films and television shows.Her acting career started in 1977 with a role in Oscar Wilde’s play, The Importance of Being Earnest, which launched her into the spotlight. Despite the fact that she had her television debut as early as 1975, her first leading part in a major motion film came in 1983 with Sapore di Mare. In the years afterwards, she has appeared in a number of other films, including the 1991 comedy Abbronzatissimi, in which she played the part of Aurora. In 1992, she co-hosted the Sanremo Music Festival alongside Pippo Baudo, who was also a festival co-founder. Parietti is the mother of Francesco Oppini, who was born on April 6, 1982, to her ex-husband Franco Oppini.
