Alexandra Estella DeAnna “Alex” Meneses (born February 12, 1965) is an American actress and model who has worked in television and movies. Her father is of Mexican ancestry, while her mother is of Ukrainian ancestry, and she was born in Chicago. During his summer vacations, Meneses studied acting at Chicago’s Second City Improvisational Theater. She earned a modelling contract in Milan, Italy, just after she graduated from high school. She was only supposed to remain for three months, but she fell in love with the nation and stayed for two years, eventually becoming a successful model. Alex returned to the United States and studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles. Meneses had recurring appearances on Everybody Loves Raymond as Robert’s Italian lover, Stefania; Friends (1997, Third Season) as Cookie (Joey Tribiani’s sister); and The Hughleys. She has also appeared in the films Amanda and the Alien, Selena, Living in Peril, The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas, Auto Focus, NCIS, and Funny Money as Alex Delgado in the episode Lock Up of Martial Law, as well as the films Amanda and the Alien, Selena, Living in Peril, The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas, Auto Focus, NCIS, and Funny Money. Alex has also acted in a number of theatre shows in Los Angeles.
