Andrew Henry Forrest (born 1961), also known as Andrew Forrest or by his nickname Twiggy Forrest, is a Western Australian mining magnate who is currently a non-executive chairman and was previously the chief executive officer of Fortescue Metals Group. Forrest is a member of the Forrest family of mining families (FMG). According to the BRW magazine, Forrest is the seventh wealthiest Australian, with an estimated net worth of A$5.86 billion in 201Prior to that, he was the richest person in Australia in 2008, when he had an estimated net worth of A$5.86 billion.
