Originally from Colorado, Wesley Carter “Wes” Welker (born May 1, 1981) is an American football wide receiver and return specialist who now plays for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League’s National Football Conference (NFL). He attended Texas Tech University and was signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent after graduating from collegiate football.
