The St. Marys Intermediate School community is mourning the loss of one of its brightest stars, 11-year-old Jersey Poff. Her unexpected passing has left us all in deep sorrow. Jersey’s departure was due to a sudden illness, but the exact cause remains a mystery. Our hearts ache for her parents, Allison and Jody Poff, as we struggle to find the right words to express the sadness we share.
Jersey’s Impact at St. Marys Intermediate School Jersey Poff, the daughter of Allison and Jody Poff, was a 5th-grade student at St. Marys Intermediate School. She was known for her warm and serene nature, and her presence brightened up our school. Jersey had a unique role as the volleyball manager for the St. Mary’s Volleyball team. Her favorite color was hot pink, a perfect reflection of her lively personality.
Jersey’s Infectious Enthusiasm Jersey had a remarkable gift for bringing joy to any room she entered. Whether she was flashing her trademark smile, sharing laughter, singing, dancing, or even engaging in friendly wrestling matches, Jersey’s enthusiasm for life was contagious. She left a lasting positive impact on both the staff and students at St. Mary’s Intermediate School, all thanks to her unwavering faith.
Honoring Jersey’s Memory
The St. Marys Roughriders Volleyball Parents, deeply moved by Jersey’s passing, have made a heartfelt request to the community. They invite everyone to pay tribute to Jersey during an upcoming volleyball game by wearing pink in her honor. This gesture is a touching way to remember her dedication as a volleyball manager. Additionally, a prayer gathering has been scheduled at Wayne Street Church, where the community can come together from 12:30 PM to 3 PM to remember and support one another during this difficult time.
Supporting the Poff Family
The Poff family will release Jersey’s obituary and provide details about her funeral arrangements at a later time. They are currently seeking the time and space they need to cope with this challenging situation. When they are ready to share this information, they will update Jersey’s friends and others regarding the plans for her funeral service.
