MTV Roadies is back with its 19th season, and it’s creating quite a buzz among fans. Unlike other reality shows, this one is unique in many ways. With a massive fan following, this show produced by Banijay Asia and hosted by Sonu Sood has captured the hearts of viewers since its debut on MTV India on June 3, 2023.
The Auditions and Gang Leaders
The journey of MTV Roadies Karm Ya Kaand began with auditions held in Chandigarh on April 13, 2023. To secure a spot on the show, contestants needed at least two votes from the gang leaders. The competition promises to be thrilling and entertaining, as seen in the promotional videos. Each contestant brings their unique style and adds to the excitement. The brain behind the Roadies format is Nikhil J. Alva.

- Neerja Punia joined the show on June 10th, 2023, after sharing her inspiring journey of transitioning from a male to a transwoman.
- Shubham and Pery entered the Roadies on June 11th, 2023, with 400 and 900 Roadium coins, respectively.
- Sachin Yogesh and Nejm joined the competition with 2000, 1700, and 300 Roadium coins, respectively.

Vasu made an interesting move on June 17, 2023, by choosing Prince’s gang despite winning Rhea’s highest bid for 4100 Roadium coins. Abhirup and Nayera also joined Team Prince thanks to this decision. On June 18, 2023, Ashika followed suit by selecting Prince despite winning Rhea’s highest bid for 2800 Roadium coins. Tanu Rawat and Rajveer entered the Roadies on June 24, 2023, with 1100 and 1600 Roadium coins, respectively. Shuly and Heman secured their spots by receiving the highest bid from Rhea on June 25, 2023.
The Eliminations and Twists
- On July 1, 2023, Rhea used her Roadium coins to secure Rishabh’s spot on her team, while Gautam chose Bhavish.
- Himanshu made a bold move on July 2, 2023, with a 2000 Roadium coins bid, joining Rupa in Gautam’s squad.
- Digvijay had a unique journey, as he was the only contestant selected on July 8th, 2023, with Gautam placing a 2700 bid on him.
- On July 9, 2023, Pallavi joined Gautam’s squad, while Gary became a part of Prince’s team.
- Unfortunately, Mallika, Manpreet, Pery, Hasan, Shubham, and Lekha were eliminated on July 15, 2023, after failing in the Bhai Bhai Ki Pisai Task.
Pallavi faced the highest votes on July 16, 2023, but her victory in Sonu Sood’s Karm Task kept her in the competition. Team Gautam won a significant task on July 22, 2023, earning immunity for five contestants and 2000 Roadies. Team Prince secured second place and the same number of Roadies. On July 23, 2023, Rupa and Nejm from Gang Gautam were eliminated by the voting process.
Team Prince won a task on July 29, 2023, receiving 3000 Roadiums, while Team Rhea and Team Gautam received 2000 and 1000 Roadiums, respectively. Team Rhea achieved victory in a mission on July 30, 2023, earning five immunities. On August 5th, 2023, Gary Lu from Prince Narula’s team was eliminated.
The wildcard entry, Akriti Nagi, joined Rhea’s team on August 6th, 2023. On August 12th, Team Rhea secured six immunities, Team Gautam won five, and Team Prince received two. Popular votes led to the elimination of Priyanka Choudhary, Leeza, Nyyra Ahuja, and Naveen Kumar on August 13, 2023. There were no eliminations on August 19th and August 20th, 2023.
Vashu faced eviction on August 26th, 2023, but Priyanka saved him by giving up her immunity for two weeks. Team Prince clinched victory in an assignment on August 27, 2023. There were no eliminations on September 2, 2023.
