Rennie Ramnarine wasn’t just a gifted musician; he was a multi-talented artist with exceptional musical skills. Originally from Gasparillo Village in Victoria, Trinidad and Tobago, he attended Marabella Senior Comprehensive. Rennie’s influence extended beyond the world of music; he was also a dedicated educator. He was not only an outstanding singer, bassist, and guitarist but also a remarkable teacher. Even before his illness, Rennie spent his time teaching guitar at the Satya Anand Ashram in Aranguez. His commitment was evident as he lovingly created handwritten notes for his students and inspired them through his musical performances.
A Spiritual Connection and Health Struggles
In addition to his musical talents, Rennie had a deep spiritual connection, steadfastly practicing Hinduism despite the health challenges he faced. Sadly, Rennie Ramnarine, who had been battling chronic kidney failure for several years, passed away early this morning. Raymond Ramnarine officially shared the news of his brother’s passing on their Facebook page. In response to this heartbreaking news, Mala L. N. Sharma-Singh expressed her condolences in a heartfelt message on the Facebook post:
