With a powerful impression, Ariana Grande joined the music scene. She was also named as the next Mariah Carey with her strong vocal chops and compared with Whitney Houston. Before having a big break in music, Grande was best known for playing the character Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon sitcom ‘Victorious’. Born in Boca Raton, Florida in 1993, she sang from a tender age and co-founded South Florida’s youth singing party, Kids Who Care. They appeared at numerous charitable events in 2007 alone, raising over $500,000 for charities.


Ariana Grande-Butera worked with many South Florida orchestral ensembles during her youth. Even more remarkable, she made her Broadway debut in the role of Charlotte in the musical “13” at age 15, and then starred in the role of Miriam in the musical “Cuba Libre” by Desmond Child.
In March 2013, when “The Way” was released, over 120,000 units were sold in the first 48 hours before going on to 219,000 units in its opening week. Back then, behind Justin Timberlake’s “Suit & Tie” and One Direction’s “Best Song Ever” it retained the third best-selling first-week sales figure of 201Before climbing to No. 9, it debuted at No. 10 on the list.


The then-Nickelodeon star began winning prestigious awards as her star shone. She won the 2013 Billboard Mid-Year Music Awards for Best Newcomer. Three Teen Choice Award nominations were also awarded to her; Best Love Song, Best Breakthrough Artist and Style Icon.


She then released “Yours Truly” as her debut album. Besides Miller, it features Big Sean and Nathan Sykes of The Wanted. On September 3, it was published in the United States. She said of the initiative, “They can expect a lot of honesty,” “It’s like a direct… you know, it’s like it used to be pages from my diary, instead of keeping diary, I would write songs about what was happening in my life. So it’s really personal. It’s a Motown throwback and pop at the same time, so it’s ’50s and ’60s inspiration mixed with today.”


Less than a year after the album debuted on Billboard 200 at No. 1, Grande announced that she had already begun working on a follow-up. Then the first single from the second LP came at the end of April. The album titled “Problem” debuted at No. 3 on Billboard 200, featuring verses from Iggy Azalea, giving Grande her largest digital song sales week ever. It finally reached No. 2.


Grande revealed that her second single would be named “Break Free” though her latest single already earned strong airplay on the radio, and it featured EDM superstar Zedd. Premiering back in July on the one-day revival of ‘TRL’, the album has so far peaked in the top 10 of the Billboard 100.
“My Everything”, Grande’s sophomore album, is scheduled to be released on August 2New tracks that made the cut to the album include her newest “Best Mistake” collaboration with Big Sean and a track called “A Little Bit of My Heart” written by One Direction’s Harry Styles.


The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 following its arrival. Other singles off the album, including “Love Me Harder” and “One Last Time” supported by The Weeknd, both peaked within the top 10 of the Hot 100 list.


Grande revealed earlier in 2015 that she had an album named “Moonlight” coming out later in the year. However, until late October, when she eventually released the first single “Focus” for the LP, she did not let fans hear what her new music would sound like. The song made its Billboard Hot 100 debut at No. 7, making Grande the first artist to land in the top 10 of the chart to have the lead cuts of her first three albums.
